You were created for more than just getting through the day.

But if you’re honest…

Sometimes it feels like that’s all you’re doing.

Reacting.

Overthinking.

Trying to hold it all together.

Wondering why, even with faith, you still feel stuck in the same patterns.

There is a reason for that.

And there is a way out.

You know you shouldn’t be angry — but you feel yourself on the edge of an outburst frequently.

You know you’re supposed to be joyful and grateful — but your mind drifts back to negativity and worst-case scenarios.

You know you shouldn’t be anxious for anything — but you’re often gripped with fear before the day has even started.

You know you should just trust God — but sometimes you don’t know how, or what that even looks like in your situation.

And in the quiet moments, the question comes anyway.

What is wrong with me?

You’d probably never treat anyone else the way you treat yourself in those moments.

You wouldn’t shame a friend the way you shame yourself.

You wouldn’t dismiss the feelings and needs of someone you love the way you dismiss your own.

But you do it to yourself — over and over — and you can’t seem to stop.

Here’s what I want you to know:

There is nothing wrong with you. And God’s promises are for you too.

The promise of peace. The promise of fullness of joy. The promise of freedom from judgment, shame, and bondage.

What you’re experiencing isn’t a spiritual issue. It is a human one.

Yes, we are spiritual beings. But we have bodies, minds, and hearts that were all designed to function in a specific way. And it’s when we don’t fully understand the functions of each — and how to direct them — that they direct us.

Think of it this way: the spirit is the driver of the car. But if the engine hasn’t been maintained, the wheels aren’t aligned, or the frame is broken — you won’t get very far.

Survival mode is a function of the body.

Your nervous system was designed to protect you — and it’s doing exactly that.

But it isn’t always extreme danger or trauma that sends us there. It can be something as common as chronic stress, emotional neglect, lack of safety, or self-abandonment — the slow accumulation of a life spent pouring out without ever being refilled.

In a state of survival, your mind and body are constantly on high alert, focused on getting through the day rather than truly living. You’re often just reacting — rushing, avoiding, people-pleasing, overworking, or shutting down — without space to reflect, dream, or feel safe in your own body.

And sadly, within the church there is a tendency to compartmentalize and dismiss the needs of the body, the mind, and the heart. We were taught to feed our spirit. Nobody taught us to tend to the rest.

You’re not crazy. You’re not broken. Your nervous system is doing its job.

But you were made for more than survival. And there is a way out — when you finally have the tools to care for and integrate your whole self: your mind, your body, your heart, and your spirit together.

That is exactly what this work is.

The women who do this work don’t just feel better.

They stop reacting and start responding. They wake up and recognize what they’re feeling — and know what to do with it. They stop white-knuckling their way through relationships and start actually showing up in them.

One of my clients told me that learning to manage her state was the most transformational thing she’d ever done — that she finally believed she had the freedom to pursue the life she actually wanted. Another said she found a sense of peace she hadn’t felt in years, and that it changed her life.

Not because they tried harder.

Because they finally understood themselves.

That is available to you too. Not someday. Starting now.

This is where faith and neuroscience meet. Not so you can just know truth — but so you can actually live from it.

Where Would You Like to Begin?

Made to Thrive Program

This is the deep work.

Not symptom management. Not new habits layered over old wounds. Real, lasting transformation — from the inside out.

The Made to Thrive Program is a 36-week coaching experience designed to walk you through the full journey: out of survival mode and into a life defined by peace, clarity, and alignment with who God created you to be.

We don’t just talk about what needs to change. We go underneath it — healing what’s driving your patterns, releasing what your body has been carrying, and rebuilding your relationship with yourself and with God from a place of truth that you can actually feel.

Inside this work you will:

Learn to regulate your nervous system and come out of chronic overwhelm.

Understand how your past experiences shaped your patterns and reactions.

Process and release stored emotional pain.

Reconnect with truth in a way that feels real — because it’s embodied, not just believed.

Begin living from peace, stability, and confidence.

This is for you if:

You’re stuck in cycles you can’t break on your own.

You’re exhausted from reacting, shutting down, or feeling out of control.

You feel disconnected from yourself, your emotions, or God.

You’re done with quick fixes and ready for change that actually lasts.

The journey unfolds in three phases:

State Management — Learn to regulate your nervous system and understand your patterns.

Heart Connection & Inner Healing — Process deeper emotional wounds and reconnect with yourself.

Rewriting Your Story — Create new beliefs, discover your God-given identity, and become fully rooted in truth and purpose.

Client Testimonials

CJ

Breakthrough Coaching

“Coaching with Jen has been a journey and what I’ve learned has been transformational.  I think that understanding that the responses that my body has comes from wounds of my past has changed my life.  I knew that to some degree, but Jen has helped me to identify the impactful moments and beliefs, and has helped me to go there to heal through Journaling and meditation.  I’m most grateful for a sense of peace and highly reduced anxiety as a result.  I continue to be triggered and continue to learn and grow as a result.”

“This lady has pure intentions on helping you flip your life for the better. You get to enjoy it yourself as well as all those you come in contact with. It’s truly worth the time and investment to rework some limiting beliefs and stuck patterns in your life. She has helped create and maintain huge momentum in my life to create the life I want instead of living in a reactionary mode. Thanks Jen for sharing tools to help us succeed!”

Made to Thrive

“What I learned through coaching definitely empowered me to make changes in my life.  There was a promotion opportunity at work that I would have desired, but not pursued, out of fear of inadequacy.  This was perfectly timed at the end of our coaching sessions when I had already learned so much about myself. I was ready to take the chance!  I was offered the promotion.  It has been an exciting turn of events.  It’s a very busy job, but when it starts to feel overwhelming, I remember what I learned through coaching.   Managing my state has been the most transformational.  I finally believe I have the freedom to pursue more of my “wish lists” and achieve additional goals.  I am grateful to Jen for her wealth of subject knowledge, gentle observation, and insight.”

Meet Your Coach

I didn’t set out to become a coach.

I set out to survive.

My 18 year marriage ended. The life I had built — the future I had planned, the family I had poured everything into — fell apart. Every dream I had for my future included my husband and my family as it was. And suddenly it didn’t.

I was broken. Directionless. Hopeless in a way I hadn’t known was possible for someone with faith. I felt abandoned — by the life I thought I was building, and if I’m honest, by God too. I was angry. I screamed. I told Him I was done. I wondered how He could have called me onto something so beautiful and then pulled the rug out from under me.

And in the middle of all of that — when I didn’t know who I was anymore or what came next — I kept myself busy landscaping the yard around the dream house my husband and I had just built together.

Not four years before, my yard had been heavily wooded forest that we cleared to build this home. What remained after construction was a mess. Sand. Sand burrs. Random hills and ridges. Nothing but work.

So I worked.

I hauled in loads of black dirt and topsoil. I shoveled and raked. I planted grass seed, pulled weeds on my hands and knees, year after year. I planted gardens even before I had a decent yard because I needed something beautiful to tend to.

One day as I was digging up sod, transplanting wild ferns, planting bulbs in their place — I stopped and looked at what I was doing. I had a vision of what this yard, this home, these gardens would one day become. And in that moment I heard something that stopped me cold.

You were made to thrive too.

Just like that, I understood what was happening in my own life.

I could see the years of barely surviving — seeds sown among rocks, drowned by pain, choked out by weeds I had allowed to grow because I believed it was the right thing to do. What looked like devastation was actually groundwork being done. And I understood, maybe for the first time, that I could be a partner with God in it.

Life didn’t have to just happen to me.

I could excavate. Remove what didn’t belong. Plant and sow seeds that would bear the fruit I actually wanted to bear. I could cultivate — in alignment with myself and my Creator.

I knew in that moment that I would build something with that name.

Made to Thrive.

I had no idea what it would look like or how I would do it. I just knew that I would one day help other women thrive the way I was learning to.

That’s what this is.

I’m Jen —

Empowerment and embodiment coach, woman of faith, mother, and someone who has done the hard, unglamorous work of rebuilding from the inside out.

I work with Christian women who are tired of just getting through the day.

Women who know what they believe but can’t seem to live from it.

Women who are ready to stop surviving and start becoming who they were always meant to be.

If that’s you — I’m so glad you’re here.
